May Species Count (Lac La Biche and Area${DYNAMIC_CONTENT}du 29/05/2010 04:00 au 30/05/2010 23:55)

Preparation meeting for the May Species Count will take place on Friday May 28th from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm at the BCMInns ( 2nd floor community meeting room). A slide show to review bird species will also be held on Friday evening. On Sunday a Wind-Up Lunch/Dinner will be held at Tom's Pizza and Steakhouse Restaurant from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

May Bird Pre-Count Welcome & Information Night (BCM Inns (west of LLB on Highway 55)${DYNAMIC_CONTENT}du 28/05/2010 18:00 au 28/05/2010 21:00)

Allocation of areas to to be covered by birders during the Saturday and Sunday May Bird count. Slide show to review bird species. Travel arrangements for new or visiting birders with members of the Birding Society. BCM Inns 780-623-1888 or 1-800-700-2264 (Birders will receive discount for Bird Count weekend). Tom's Pizza and Steakhouse Restaurant is the Birders' Eatery (Identify yourself as a Birder for a discount).

Trip to Slave Lake Boreal Bird Centre August 19, 2010 (${location}${DYNAMIC_CONTENT}du 19/08/2010 07:00 au 19/08/2010 17:30)

On Thursday August 19th a bus will leave from McArthur Place at 7:00am for a 10:00am to 2:00pm visit at the Bird Centre. Arrival back in LLB is 5:30pm. Cost of trip is $40.00 and includes transportation, picnic lunch and coffee. Anyone wanting to go, call Linda at FCSS 780-623-7979.
